Business Analyst/Product Manager

A Business Analyst at Moving Interactive takes on roles on client projects or internal projects associated with helping to articulate the business challenge, shape the business vision, make the case for change, define high-level requirements, and shepherd that vision and those requirements through detailed design and implementation phases.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and Conducting Research
  • Help Define and Supporting Business Vision and Content Strategy 
  • Shepherd Business Vision/Requirements through Design & Build
  • Identify marketplace trends, industries, new capabilities, client competitors
  • Support stakeholder and user interviews (interview guide support, notetaking, synthesis)
  • Support Concept testing (test plan support, scenario development support, notetaking, synthesis)
  • Create and conduct stakeholder and user surveys
  • Analyze, craft story around, and present all findings and implications of findings
  • Document current state (pain points, processes)
  • Define/articulate user personas, profiling, user experience scenarios
  • Articulate business problem and goals and what customer behaviors should be the focus
  • Support future state business vision definition and high-level requirements
  • Support content strategy and content mapping
  • Support business case definition: desired behaviors, desired outcomes, and financial implications
  • Project portfolio and roadmap
  • Articulate the business “story”, i.e. here’s what we expect to do and what we expect to get
  • Proxy for client in driving business goals through design and implementation
  • Collect, document, and manage business requirements and features and functions inventory
  • Write and validate user stories and user acceptance criteria for functionality
  • Collaborate with creative and technical resources to ensure adherence to requirements
  • Conduct usability testing to validate functionality and make final design decisions
  • Coordinate with business to resolve functional roadblocks
  • Help document change requests and analyze the impact of a change in functionality
  • Drive user acceptance testing for product designs and client beta products

 

 

 

Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of management; Strong executive presence and polish

Senior Project Manager

Moving Interactive is a rapidly growing interactive agency. Moving Interactive works with some of the world’s leading brands on the launch of their new digital products. We have wholly-owned offices in New York, Orlando and Lima, Peru. We are looking for a full time Senior Project Manager to lead multiple work streams across one of our most prominent accounts. Our Senior Project Managers are talented, self-motivated leaders driven to manage large-scale, interactive projects from strategic conception and design to development and implementation.

Location: Parsippany, NJ
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of professional project management experience in a consultancy or agency
  • Experience managing budgets $1.5M+
  • Experience managing a cross-capability team of 10+
  • Consistently manage client expectations, schedules, budgets, assets and scope
  • Organization and attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.  Must be able to clearly articulate the goals of the client and translate that into the ideas behind our work
  • Manage and partner with Strategy, Creative and Tech teams to produce amazing digital results

Moving Interactive is looking for a talented *product designer* to join our Funny Garbage team in New York and help take our designs to the next level.

 

You will report directly to our fabulous Creative Director and will work collaboratively with our UX, product, marketing and engineering teams to create rich and powerful products. You will be asked to think while you design, to consider the entire product lifecycle and make everything useful as well as beautiful.

 

Here is what you will do:

 

  • Transform UX wireframes into high fidelity user-centered design mockups and specification.
  • Contribute to the creation, adoption and improvement of Funny Garbage design patterns and guidelines and ensure their consistent deployment across various touch points to maintain a strong world-class brand.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers and other team members to identify and plan project requirements and conceptualize ideas.
  • Work closely with peers as well as those within our marketing team to ensure the delivery of a brand nurturing design experience.
  • Appreciate and offer critical feedback and seek it out in reviews with customers, peers, stakeholders and research.
  • Help lead/mentor a world-class team of creative talent internally and externally.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in this field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fearless approach to typography and an intuitive understanding of classical proportion and layout.
  • The ability to communicate ideas and designs using nothing more than a pencil and paper (gasp!).

Information Architect

We are currently seeking an Information Architect to join our creative team in our NYC location.

This is a Full-Time position and critical client facing role. This person must be able to work independently with our Creative Director and will report to our UX Lead.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience; preferably with the interactive design of large enterprise websites and mobile patterns
  • Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology. Agile knowledge highly preferred.
  • Must have strong understanding of high level business goals and know how to keep UI designs in scope
  • Working knowledge of User Centered Design Principles and Practices
  • Must be able to consume and internalize technical requirements

Creative Director (Orlando)

Moving Interactive is a rapidly growing interactive agency. Moving Interactive works with some of the world’s leading brands on the launch of their new digital products. We have wholly-owned offices in New York, Orlando and Lima, Peru.

Moving Interactive is looking for a Creative Director to lead our rock star creative team in Downtown Orlando. This is a hands-on role that will also lead the generation of creative concepts through leadership & delegation. This role reports to our VP of Creative Design.

The Creative Director role is a full-time position with a complete benefits package & a flexible on-site / remote schedule. Expect 3 days a week on-site in our Downtown Orlando office and 2 days a week working from home (usually Monday and Friday).

Network Administrator - Remote

We are looking for a full time network admin who can monitor , coordinate , remediate and report health of Moving Interactive's servers, emails, tools and other network properties.

Requirements:
  • Has strong background and experience in managing Linux based servers
  • Generate new VPN certificates and set up VPN on internal MI and client machines
  • Manage stash and GIT server for code repository
  • Manage Rackspace servers and hypervisors
  • Manage JIRA and Confluence on-primise installations and help maintain add-on product licenses and maintain day to day JIRA/Confluence needs

In this entry-level position, the ideal candidate must provide strong conceptual thinking, solid digital design skills and basic expertise in Mac design programs. Moving Interactive works with some of the worlds’ leading media brands on the launch of their new digital products. Moving Interactive also provides platforms to accelerate the creation of social applications, websites and mobile applications.

The candidate should have experience selling digital media interactive services and large digitals projects such as content management, digital commerce, website design, social media, video production and digital mobile solutions.

Requirements:
  • Bringing in new business every year totaling 3 to 5 million dollars of digital product development work in the web, mobile, and social media space
  • Finding leads, writing proposals, closing business, and negotiating and enforcing contracts
  • Managing the P&L for his/her book of business and ensuring profitable delivery through solid planning and strong oversight of delivery projects
